Green Valley is home to several beautiful parks, hiking and jogging trails and outdoor sports facilities. For the golfer, Henderson is host to several public and private golf courses. In addition, shopping and restaurants are plentiful. From casual fare to fine dinning there are plenty of local choices when heading out for a bite. The Green Valley Outdoor Sculpture Collection is one of the best know public art displays in the Las Vegas Area and located right in the middle of the community.

Schools in the area rank among the best in the greater Las Vegas area. In fact, Green Valley High School was named one of the top 10 high schools in the United States in 1997. In addition, Green Valley is home to the Henderson Campus of the Community College of Southern Nevada.

Green Valley is a convenient 20 minutes to the strip and 15 minutes to the airport making it a very easy commute.
